Shop, Garage, Barn & Outbuilding
Wiring in Central Oregon
Central Oregon properties are full of detached shops, garages, barns, and outbuildings that need real electrical — not just a single 15A circuit run from the house. Gold Electric specializes in running new services to detached structures, installing subpanels sized for the work you actually do, and wiring for welders, compressors, RV hookups, shop equipment, and agricultural needs.

Trenching and Conduit
Running power to a detached building usually requires trenching underground conduit from the house (or utility pole) to the new structure. We handle the electrical side of this; you or a landscaper handle the digging. Most runs are 100–300 feet and require 2" PVC conduit, #2 copper or aluminum wire, and a new disconnect at the outbuilding.
Rural & Agricultural Specialization
Many properties in Redmond, Prineville, and Madras run farm equipment and irrigation pivots. We have deep experience with three-phase services, large pumps, and agricultural load calculations.
